EZchangeorder is a mobile app used by residential construction contractors to document, price, and get approval for change orders — extra work requested during a project. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and who it is shared with.

Who we are

EZchangeorder is operated by Hadar Wissotzky, a sole proprietor based in San Francisco, California. Contact: hadar@streamlinesocial.com.

What we collect

Account information — name, email address, phone number, and company name of the contractor using the app.
Client contact details — the name, mobile number, and email address of a client, entered by the contractor so change orders can be sent to them.
Job records — project names and addresses, descriptions of work, prices, and the terms of each change order.
Captured evidence — voice recordings, photos, and typed notes made on the job site, along with the time and, where the device provides it, the GPS location at the moment of capture. Location is used to stamp evidence and to file a capture to the right job. It is never used for advertising and never tracked in the background.
Approvals — the name of the person who approved a change order, when they approved it, and the exact wording they were shown.

How we use it

Solely to run the service: to write up and price change orders, to deliver them to the client named on the record, to keep an accurate record of what was agreed, and to support and secure the app. We do not use your information, or your clients' information, for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Text messages

Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS are never shared or sold to anyone, and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with our messaging provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages described here.

Message frequency: messages are event-driven and infrequent — typically a few per project. A client receives a message when a change order needs their review, at most one reminder per day per change order if they have not responded, and a message if a change order already sent to them is revised.

Message and data rates may apply.

Clients receive these messages because they hired the contractor and gave that contractor their mobile number for the project. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out stops all further messages about that work.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers needed to operate the app, and only for that purpose:

Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication (United States).
Twilio — delivery of the text messages described above.
Speech and language processing providers — voice recordings and typed notes are sent to a processing provider to produce a transcript and a written scope of work.
RevenueCat and Apple — subscription and payment handling. We never receive or store your card details.

We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Your clients' information

When a contractor enters a client's details, the contractor is responsible for having that client's permission to contact them about their project. We process those details on the contractor's behalf.

How long we keep it

Change orders and their evidence are kept as a business record for as long as the account is active, because an approved change order is a record of an agreement that both sides may need later. Recordings and photos are stored securely and are not public.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving them.
Ask your contractor to remove your number from a project.
Request a copy of your information, or its deletion, by emailing us. Deleting a record removes the content and media; a record that a document existed, and its cryptographic fingerprint, may be retained where we are legally required to.
Location and microphone access can be turned off at any time in your phone's settings. The app will keep working, with less information stamped on a capture.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Records are stored on the device and in our database with access controls that limit each account to its own data. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected users promptly if we learn of a breach that affects them.

Children

EZchangeorder is a tool for construction businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you, tell you in the app.
