These terms govern your use of the EZchangeorder mobile app and the web pages it links to. By using the app you agree to them.
EZchangeorder lets a residential construction contractor record extra work on a job site, turn it into a priced change order, and send it to their client for review and electronic approval. The client opens a link, reads the scope and price, can ask questions, and can approve or decline.
You must be at least 18 and using the app for a business. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for everything done under it.
The app sends text messages to clients whose mobile numbers a contractor has entered. By entering a client's number, the contractor confirms that the client gave them that number and expects to be contacted about their project.
Message frequency: event-driven and infrequent — typically a few messages per project. A client receives a message when a change order needs review, at most one reminder per day per change order, and a message if a change order already sent is revised.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Recordings, photos, notes, prices, and change orders you create remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store them, process them to produce a written scope of work, and deliver them to the people you send them to.
Approved change orders are kept as a permanent record and are not edited after signature. That is the point of the product: both sides need to be able to rely on what was agreed. Corrections are made by issuing a new change order, not by rewriting an old one.
The app uses automated transcription and drafting to turn what you said into a written scope and to suggest a price. These are drafts. The app asks you to read and confirm every price and every scope before it is sent, and nothing is sent to a client until you do. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you send and for the agreement it creates.
EZchangeorder is a record-keeping and communication tool. It is not a law firm and provides no legal advice. Whether a change order is enforceable in your state, and what your contract requires, is between you and your own advisors.
Paid plans are billed through the Apple App Store. Prices and terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and are managed in your App Store account. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
We may suspend an account that does these things.
We work to keep the service running and captures safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Captures are stored on your device first, so the app keeps working without a signal and syncs when one returns.
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
We may update these terms; the date above will change and material updates will be notified in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
