How do I create a change order?
From the home screen tap Record extra work, pick the job, and describe the
change out loud. You can add photos from the same screen. The app writes it up as a
change order with a scope of work and a price for you to review.
Does my customer need the app?
No. They receive a text message with a link to a web page where they can read the
change order, ask a question, and approve and sign it. No app and no account.
Nothing is sent without me approving it?
Correct. Nothing carrying a price leaves your phone until you review it and send it.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Recording and photos are saved on the device first and upload when you have a
connection. You can capture in a basement or on a site with no service.
How do I change the language?
English and Spanish are both supported. Set it during setup or change it later in
Settings.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by the store you bought them from. On iPhone, open the
Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose EZChangeOrders. On
Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments and
subscriptions › Subscriptions, and choose EZChangeOrders. Canceling at least
24 hours before the end of the current period stops the next renewal.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, open the menu and tap Close my account. If you can't open the app,
email us at the address above. Step-by-step instructions, and exactly what is deleted
and kept, are on our account deletion page. Approved change orders
carry a legal record, so where a signed document must be retained we destroy the
personal data and keep only a hash and a metadata stub. This is described in our
Privacy Policy.
